I am happy to report that in 5623 consecutive days that Annie’s Angels has been filling requests, 6345 requests have been successfully completed! Between July 1 & 31, 2022 Annie’s Angels has received and assisted with 45 requests compared to July 2021 of 60 requests, an 11% decrease from last year. Requests to date 2022 are 445 compared to 2021 at 368, a 21% increase compared to the same time frame last year.
You may notice that we’ve had 2 months of decrease in requests. This is due to the fact that many case workers are reaching their limits and have left their jobs, burned out from the day to day stress. Fewer case workers equal fewer requests. However, this will rebound once case worker positions have been filled. Annie’s Angels must be ready! Let's not let our guard down.
I wanted this at the top of our newsletter because this person means so much to so many at Annie's Angels and in our seacoast community. This bit of business is more “see you later” than good-bye. Our long-time board member Candie Wright has decided to step down from the board. She will remain as our bookkeeper as well as liaison between our Annie’s Helping Hands Program and our main participant to AHH, Rejuvenation Professional Massage. She will also volunteer when available. Candie is leaving us so she can better operate Candie’s Bookkeeping and More as well as revitalize Serenity Meditation and enjoy life a little. We wish her well in everything she does and look forward to working with her on other projects. Thank you for your years of service to Annie’s Angels and the community.

Drumming For Parkinson's
This past month, working with musician Randy Armstrong and Dave Rawson from Lobster Claw Media, and working with funds received through a grant from Wireless Zone Stratham and Verizon Gives, we were able to produce four videos spanning from an introduction to drumming to advanced drumming for Parkinson's. These videos have replaced the live version of Drumming for Parkinson's we offered before COVID. These videos are FREE to view and can be used as often as you like. They can be found at
