Welcome to Annie's Angels newsletter brought to you by EnviroVantage! We're thrilled to have you on board. Get ready to fill your inbox with heartwarming stories, exciting updates, and ways to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Stay tuned for a journey of kindness and compassion!

            Our Current Statistics
Consecutive Days of Service - 3/10/2007 - 04/30/2024 = 6262
Total Requests Filled = 8740 which includes:
Total Angel Pets = 644; Total Service Dogs = 9; Total Arts for Angels Projects = 667
Does not include 11,000 Teddy Bears to Boston Children's and Dartmouth Hitchcock
Requests - April 2023 = 91 v April 2024 = 39 -80%
Requests Year to Date - 2023 = 311 v 2024 = 144 -73%
Distribution $ to Help Families-Year to Date - 2023-$165,640 v 2024 - $117,601 -29%
Donation $ Raised - Year to Date - 2023 = $169,658 v 2024 = $195,766 15.39%

As you can see, our distributions are down, and our fundraising is up. As I explained to the board in my monthly Executive Director's Report, distributions are down because, as I've stated before, I asked caseworkers at the organizations we work with to help us fundraise so we could continue to support their clients, and I guess, their idea of “helping” was to not send us as many requests.

While I like raising more than we are giving away, after all, our goal is to always stay ahead of the wave, it troubles me to think that there are families out there who need us but aren’t getting the service they need because caseworkers think they're "helping" us by not sending requests.

The fact is, other local organizations have not been as aggressive with fundraising. They simply stopped answering requests for a time or closed their doors all together. Because of YOU, we never did. We have been in our community day and night, day after day supporting our people, helping them through life threatening disease, illness or disability. We will battle on!

We are currently in the midst of final preparations for our SOLD OUT 17th Anniversary Heavenly Ball. YOU can still be a part of the action by going online to HB2024.Givesmart.com  and bidding on silent auction items. YOU can still be a part of the action by going online to  HB2024.Givesmart.com  and buying a Golden Ticket for a chance to WIN one of the 10 LIVE auction items. Last year's winner paid $100 for 1 ticket and won a cruise for 2 to the Bahamas! This could be you! You can also be a part of Heavenly Ball, getting your name on the BIG screen by making a tax deductible donation at  HB2024.Givesmart.com

Once Heavenly Ball concludes, we begin planning our 10 days at The Brook, June 30 to July 9. We are currently working on our Donor Appreciation Night at The Brook, Saturday, July 6. We have secured local band "The Damn Tuttles" including food and lots of fun.

Saturday, July 27 is Benefest, a concert on the pond to benefit Annie's Angels!

We are also working with the Dover, Rollinsford, & South Berwick Lions Club to plan the 3rd Annual Lions Cornhole for a Cure, Saturday August 10 to benefit Annie's Angels.

Later in the fall, plans are underway for a benefit piano concert by Mary Doane at the Durham UU Fellowship.

All these events are currently be planned by our Director of Development, Diane. All of these events will provide a fun Annie's Angels experience, and ALL these events will help us stay ahead of the request wave.

So you see, we are working hard to keep you engaged, we are working hard to keep you informed, and we are working hard to continue to be a shining light in the darkness of disease, illness, and disability. Won't YOU be a part of this? Visit anniesangels.org to stay on top of all the action. Annie's Angels is Angel Hands, Angel Hearts working together to help friends in need.
