I am honored to report that in 5562 consecutive days that Annie’s Angels has been filling requests, 6247 requests have been successfully completed! Between May 1 & 31, 2022 Annie’s Angels has received and assisted with 70 requests compared to May 2022 of 57 requests, a 21% increase from last year. Requests to date 2022 are 347 compared to 2021 at 260, a 29% increase compared to the same time frame last year.

As our website describes, Azalea Beringer, was diagnosed with Angelman syndrome (AS) in September 2017. AS is a rare genetic disorder that affects nearly 1 in 20,000 individuals. Due to a micro-deletion in her fifteenth chromosome, Azalea struggles with balance and coordination, cognitive disabilities, and the difficulty of being non-verbal. Along with her primary diagnosis of AS, Azalea is also affected by Doose Syndrome, a progressive form of Epilepsy. Though so much is working against her, Azalea is extremely persistent and continuously blows us away with her progress. Her smile and laughter is contagious and she lights up every room she enters.

I am happy to announce that we received a grant from the Bishop’s Charitable Assistance Fund in the amount of $2500.00 which will be used for our Angel Fund. The Bishop’s Assistance Fund makes grants to tax exempt organizations without regard to religious affiliations for projects that help people in New Hampshire meet their basic needs. The fund is operated by volunteer lay men and women who serve as Directors and who make recommendations to the Bishop of Manchester for grants to any organization in New Hampshire whose mission is consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The Fund raises money through solicitation of individuals, businesses, and philanthropic organizations. An annual accounting of funds raised, and disbursements is available at
