An Update and a Look Ahead
Bill DaGiau
WOW! We are quickly coming to the end of another amazing year. Thanks to YOU, we've been able to help many families on the seacoast. Thanks to YOU we've been able to keep up with the need. Thanks to YOU we are a beacon of hope in the darkness of a life threatening disease, illness or disability.

Thanks to you just in the month of October, Annie's Angels  has been able to continue helping keep food on families tables, keep gas in their cars and provide heating fuel for their homes. After all, this is what we have been doing for nearly 12 years now but there are more targeted needs that we've been able to help with.

Just in the month of October, Annie's Angels has provided music therapy for kids with special needs through the Rhythm Tree Program. We've provided an option for patients with Parkinson's called Drumming for Parkinson's. Besides just being fun, these music programs build self-esteem, improve quality of life and help reach developmental goals.

Just in the month of October, Annie's Angels provided funding for a patient to continue their recovery at Project Walk. This funding has seen the patient go from being confined and dependent to becoming a person who has been back on their feet and able to work, play and even drive their own vehicle!

Just in the month of October, Annie's Angels helped a cancer patient, some days to weak to move, get their home cleaned by a professional. Thanks to Clean By The Sea LLC for stepping up and helping.

Just in the month of October, Annie's Angels helped because YOU gave us the power, YOU gave us the funds. You inspire us to do more. Thank you.

Friends Helping Friends is a new fund through Annie's Angels set up by a group of individuals wanting to help their co-workers in their times of need. In their words, "Sometimes there are folks who need a little extra help, but are too proud to ask for it, or do not know how to go about finding ways to get that little extra boost. That is what “FRIENDS” is there for!  There is no judging, there is only kindness, love and care."
Annie's Angels and "friends" would like to thank Hutchinson Sealing Systems for their generous contribution to get this program off the ground!

Welcome to the family! I'd like to welcome Complexions Regenerative Skincare & Wellness of Hampton to our Annie's Angels family. We will be recommending their Aesthetician services as part of Annie's Helping Hands Oncology program. They also offer a variety of services that you can check out online.

Here's what owners, Christopher Bray and Andrew Kennedy have to say about Complexions.  " Complexions Regenerative Skincare & Wellness is a well appointed medical spa in Hampton, NH that guests find to be both pleasing to the mind and to the senses. As the premier medical spa destination on the Seacoast, Complexions offers many advanced treatments for anti-aging and skin regeneration.  Aesthetician services and an array of wellness treatments like LENS really make it unique. The Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS), is an elegantly simple technique effective for migraine, anxiety, and depression. With a high percentage of success LENS will benefit nearly everyone. Complexions is located at 55 High Street, Suite 302, Hampton, NH .   Complexions can be reached by phone at 603-926-3110 or by email at  info@complexionsllc.com."

Finally, I'd like to close with a personal note regarding my upcoming BIG East Coast Adventure 2018, the final event of this series, 450 miles, November 17 to 21 .

Over the past 5 years, in 2 segments, I've had the honor, joy, privilege of cycling from Grand Falls, Canada all the way to Daytona, Florida. I've ridden in every type of weather imaginable from ice cold days to sweltering heat in the blazing sun and even through a hurricane! I've met many friends, new and old and got to see this country in a way only possible at 15 miles per hour. Through all this, I've raised a lot of money for Annie's Angels and our families.

This year, what started out as a personal challenge to finish riding the east coast, has turned into one final BIG East Coast Adventure, Key West to Daytona. Somehow it just didn’t feel right. Riding for no reason at all when I could be helping someone, somewhere.

Diane and I have personally supported our niece Jenny, who is a teacher at Horizon Elementary for years, sending supplies and clothing. This is a very special school helping many special families including homeless children and children with special needs get an education and they help parents get into a better situation. So, for this reason I’ve decided to ride this final BIG East Coast Adventure to help support Horizons Elementary School.

I would appreciate your support in raising $5,000.00 for the school. To learn more about Horizon Elementary and to support this final BIG East Coast Adventure Please visit www.AnniesAngels.Org

Thanks to YOU we are able to ease some of the stresses that come with a doctors diagnosis. We justcan't do this good work without YOUR support. I ask that you please consider making a tax deductible contribution to Annie's Angels or visit  the  Our Families tab on the website and select a particular family to help. Get updates about "your family" on the website or follow them on social media to see how your contributions are working, and thanks again for your continued support.
