It's been a busy few weeks at Annie's Angels! You can read about the Luau and Cause For Boz below. I want to take this time to tell you about a life altering event that changes people's outlook on life. I'm talking about the annual Teddy
Bear Drive. We partnered with all of you as well as Trends Gift Gallery in Exeter to collect Teddy Bears and stuffed animals from March to June. We collected 1500 total this year, which brings our overall total to 8000 Teddy Bears. We finally had the opportunity to deliver them to Boston Children's Hospital. Brian and Audrey Cisneros, Carrie and Aaron Jones from Mojo's as well as Keith Lemerise from Trends and I made the trip July 31. We gave away all 1500 stuffed animals in less than 1 hour. Kids, parents, doctors and nurses were overwhelmed with your generosity. Our Annie's crew was overwhelmed by the joy we were able to bring. A joy that will be present every time that child looks at their bear. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.

1st Annual Beach Party Luau & Pig Roast
On July 28th Annie's Angels held the first ever Beach Party Luau & Pig Roast. The evening began with cocktails at the cash bar and Hors 'd oeuvres provided by the Victoria Inn. We sold raffle tickets and 50/50's as well as Heads or Tails glow sticks. We moved into the night with music from The TonyMack Band!
During a short break we pulled raffles, the 50/50 prize, which was donated back, thank you Sandy, as well as the winner of an overnight at Victoria Inn, lunch at Victoria's Kitchen and dinner at CR's. To make this an authentic Luau, Tori entertained us with her amazing Hawaiian dances. We finished the night with more dancing and fun with The TonyMack Band.
Special thanks goes out to The Victoria Inn, The Victoria Kitchen, Mojo's, The TonyMack Band, Joe & Laurel Shaw as well as Matty Shaw who held vigil all afternoon while the pig cooked!
This event was inspired by our friend Mike Twomey. Mike was a mountain of a man with the heart of a gentle giant. Mike lost his battle with cancer last year. The money raised at the Luau will benefit our Annie's Helping Hands Oncology Program.
Positive Thoughts for Keri, a fund of Annie's Angels and the Cause Fore Boz Golf Classic Committee headed by Mike Dolan presented the 8th Annual Cause Fore Boz Golf Classic on Friday, August 3rd.
