Watercolors By Michelle

Michelle is a New Hampshire state advocate for disability rights. She resides in Portsmouth, NH in an independent living apartment designed for people with disabilities called Betty's Dream. Michelle is a watercolor sketch artist and owns a small business called "Watercolors By Michelle". Despite an active lifestyle, Michelle faces challenges living with a rare disease (Charcot Marie Tooth Syndrome). She has to have full time support to maintain her day.

Michelle has out of pocket expenses for maintaining her motorized wheelchair and medical equipment, if not covered by her insurance. Michelle, with the help of Annie's Angels raised enough funds in 2018 to purchase her own 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. She recently received help from Annie's Angels to get new batteries for her transfer device (a vital necessity to transfer out of her wheelchair) and safety features installed to her motorized wheelchair.
